CAREY GARDENS COOP MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE

The Management of the Co-operative is overseen by the Management Committee which can have up to 15 members.

Carey Gardens Management committee currently consists of 9 residents who 

volunteer their free time to contribute to the running of the Carey Gardens Estate.

 

Who can serve as a Committee Member?

The Committee Members are comprised of residents of the Estate, and serve a yearly term.

They can continue to serve from year to year if they wish, and any named tenant or resident leaseholder may ask to be on the committee if a space is available.

Non resident leaseholders and their tenants may not serve on the Committee.

 

How do I become a Committee Member?

The Committee is elected each year at the Annual General Meeting of the Co-Operative. If you are interested in becoming a committee member, you can contact the office for further information.

 

What is my role as a Committee Member?

As a Committee member you will meet regularly to discuss estate priorities and objectives to ensure we work in line with residents needs and requirements, in accordance to the rules and regulations set by law.

Minutes of the Annual General Meetings (AGM) can be found on this site. Minutes are posted after every meeting and sent to Wandsworth Borough Council as well.
