Frequently Asked Questions

How do I report a repair?
  • To report a repair during office opening hours, please call the office on 0207 498 3664 or by emailing housing@careygardens.co.uk
  • For out of Hours emergencies please call the Wandsworth Council Joint Control Centre (JCC) on 0208 871 8999.
  • For heating and hot water repairs please contact PH JONES on 0800 023 4069.

How do I become a co-op member?
  • Membership to the Co-op is open to all estate residents over the age of 18 by paying £1 into the organisation.
  • The purchase of a share provides members with voting rights at general and special meetings.
  • The purchase of a share provides a life time membership as well as the right to be nominated to be a Management Committee member.
  • To become a member please visit the office with your £1 membership fee.

Is there parking available for residents?
  • Yes, we provide on-site parking for our residents.
  • Parking on the Carey Gardens Estate is limited.
  • In order to park on the Estate, residents and visitors require a permit.
  • These permits can be obtained from the Estate ofice by completing an application form.
  • Keep your visitors permit safe. If you lose it, we will not be able to issue a replacement for 12 months and there will be a charge of currently £21.40.
